I spent a lot of early mornings with Katelyn, well before 8AM. It wasn’t espresso, it wasn’t a good breakfast that could do the trick. It was having people like Katelyn by my side who radiated such sunshine into my mornings that made my feel ready to take on the world! Katelyn more than took the time to get to know me, what drives me, how to be an effective teammate to me—and always, how she could best serve me to take on the day and perform my best! One example that comes to mind is I was working with Katelyn on a blueprint, and she saw that I was struggling to find information on a particular industry trend. Rather than sit around and enjoy the extra time she had from completing her tasks early, Katelyn made it her mission to help me research that particular industry trend. As a result, I could deliver a comprehensive report to my team on an industry trend of significant relevance to them! Not only that, but my team and I had confidence in understanding the issues in front of us and how to make a plan to serve our clients impacted from this particular trend. My team and I were actually able to close two deals from the plan we conceived, and I can confidentially say our deal closures would not have resulted without Katelyn’s contributions that morning on industry trends. Not only is Katelyn always contributing, but she has an up lifting personality that never fails to light up the whole room. Every time I felt confused, I always looked to Katelyn. I knew Katelyn was a safe place to not only address my concerns without judgement, but that she cared and would more than take the time to go through various solutions with me to find the solution that resonated best in the circumstance in question. Katelyn will navigate any situation with anyone, even if it falls out of the traditional 8-5, Monday-Friday schedule. It’s simply the type of person who Katelyn is, and I am honored to have collaborated with someone so closely like Katelyn.
