My name is Katelyn, I am pleased to make your acquaintance! A little about me, I am a mother of a very hyper 5-year-old little girl. Her education has always my number one priority. As such, I would like to eventually find a job that works through a chaotic and rather spiritic, at times, school schedule to assist with work/life balance and her ability to receive the best education possible. Professionally, I carry with me over 10 years of experience in the customer service field. Most of which is served in various business types including food service, hospitality, sales, and secretarial. Non-professional, I enjoy several different outside hobbies including diamond dots art, drawing, painting, creating cards and memorial art. As well as writing poetry and finishing up my first soon-to-be-published co-written novel with my husband. On the side, I run a blog about our lives as a married couple, our lives as parents, and my poetry.Furthermore, in High School for two years I competed with our choir as a Soprano II. Before this, I was a trained gospel singer and performed often as a gospel duo alongside my mother singing soprano I and playing piano. During this time I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, making me a 10+ year cancer survivor and the recipient of the first award of its kind: Crusader With Courage. In 2011, I participated in the National FFA Convention after winning the Humanitarian Award for my time as a volunteer with the American Red Cross assisting in disaster relief, alongside my parents, as Volunteer Coordinators. In 2012, I took Certified Nurse Aid courses through the Hutchinson Community College allowing me to become proficient in medical terminology, procedures, and abbreviations. That same year, I completed my third year of Spanish education while learning some Italian and German. Before my years in Spanish, I surrounded myself in a community that commonly spoke Spanish from the early age of six. As such, I am proficient at understanding Spanish and can speak Spanish to a point. As far as business goes, I am an open book.
