Hello!From a very young age, I knew that I wanted to be a "helper" when I grew up. I went through phases of wanting to be a doctor, a teacher, anything that would give me the opportunity to positively impact another person's life. This is what makes my current role as an Autism Specialist so rewarding. Everyday I get to work with the families of children with autism. I am there to help them feel empowered by their parenting through compassion (and data) driven education. My goal is to ensure that each member of the family is not only getting their needs met but also thriving. (If this sounds like a role that you would prosper in as well, we are hiring!)I believe that the best way to better humankind is to start with the power of the individual. This is why I am pursuing a career in mental health education. We all shine our brightest when our mental health is at its best. Once our mental health is thriving, the remaining areas of our lives thrive as well. It is my driving purpose in life to help others find their way to becoming the best version of themselves. The best version of myself shines when I cook my favorite vegetarian foods, help my community with volunteer work, read self-development books (my favorite right now is The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz), and hike at my local state parks.
