-Oversaw a team of 15+ scribes including monitoring staffing needs (interviewing and hiring when needed) and scheduling scribe shifts-Onboarding new hires, ensuring they meet hospital required pre employment testing (ordering urine drug screens, ordering titers for necessary immunizations, and obtaining immunization records) and coordinating with hospital HR department-Conducted classroom training educating new hires on pathophysiology pertinent to charting in the emergency department as well as on the job training-Led informational sessions about the scribe program to recruit new candidates-Ensure quality charting through regular reviews, randomized shadow shifts, and discussions with the department medical director
