Hello! I’m Katelyn Vu, a Cognitive Science major specializing in Machine Learning and Neural Computation with a Math minor at UC San Diego, graduating in Spring 2025. My academic journey has fueled my passion for data-driven roles in a diverse set of realms, and as a D1 scholar-athlete, I'm excited about exploring opportunities in sports technology industry. I am currently a Data Analyst Intern at the Center for Community Energy, focusing on Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) charging for electric vehicles. I contribute to research on battery degradation and V2G implementations, helping to drive forward decarbonization efforts. This experience has been invaluable in enhancing my analytical skills and deepening my understanding of the potential impact of data science in sustainability.I’m eager to apply my growing knowledge and skills in a dynamic, data-driven environment and continue making an impact through data science.
