I have worked for Kern County over a decade now but I stepped into my current role just as COVID became a national concern. My main focus has been the administration of multiple community based programs developed to safeguard our residents and local economy throughout the statewide shutdown. As these programs sunset, my new focus will be the project management of an ERP implementation.

I was responsible for creating, maintaining, and implementing the Kern County Sheriff Office's in-service training plan. This plan was designed based on standards set by the California Commission on Police Officer Standards and Training (POST). While in this role, I also served as the Vice President of the California Association Police Training Officers Region IV.

As a Deputy Public Administrator, when a decedent in Kern County had next-of-kin unable or unwilling to act I coordinated and managed all aspects of estate administration as required by law.

In my role as the Kern County Sheriff's Office Court Complaint Officer, I was responsible for the filing of all criminal charges with the Kern County District Attorney's Office.

As a Sheriff Support Technician I was responsible for the accurate booking and release of inmates from the Central Receiving Facility.
