After graduating from MSU with a Bachelor's and Master's in Accounting, I worked in various accounting positions before joining my father and sister in the insurance business in 2013. Aitken & Ormond Insurance was started by my grandfather in 1948, and my father subsequently joined the agency in the 1970s. My sister joined the agency in 2008 and it was not too long after that when I wanted to be a part of the family business as well. With a numbers based background, I am passionate about learning all that I can about insurance. We have a great group of employees that work with us at the agency and value the team work that we do. We are constantly thinking about ways to take the agency from good to great. We have come so far as an agency since 1948 and I can't wait to see where the next many years take us in the insurance industry.
