Katie is a strategic leader and cross-disciplinary thinker who brings a depth of industry experience working within Fortune 100 companies, social impact organizations, and startups. She is skilled at identifying talent across sectors and anticipating what's needed next to drive collaboration and innovation.She is currently a leader in RRA's Tech and Healthcare sectors and a co-lead of RRA's West Coast Social Impact Practice. She is deeply involved and invested in the firm's Sustainability and DEIB work. She is a trusted client advisor, with a focus on systems thinking and complex, cross-sector partnerships. Katie is passionate about finding disruptive, undiscovered talent and advising the defining leaders and organizations of our time. Katie joined RRA from the international development organization, Mama Hope, where she was Director of Global Partnerships. In this role, she was responsible for leading both the Business Development and Comms/Marketing teams, as well as executing fundraising strategy and managing key relationships. Katie is also the co-founder and CEO of Glorious, where she leads the nonprofit’s US-based operations to support high-impact, women-led education and health programs in East Africa and Central America. Prior to Mama Hope, Katie worked at The Coca-Cola Company across the Foundation, Global Marketing & Sustainability. She built strategic partnerships for the Foundation, managed a portfolio of grantees and integrated employee engagement. She also launched and led EKOCYCLE, a sustainability-focused venture & eco-fashion brand partnership with music artist will.i.am. Through EKOCYCLE, a startup inside of Coca-Cola, Katie worked with over thirty leading brand partners like adidas, Beats by Dre, Levi Strauss & Co. and Starwood Hotels to develop integrated social impact programs.Coupled with her past experience working with NGOs and living in Tanzania, Guatemala, and Peru, Katie has a strong conviction in the power of meaningful cross-sector partnerships to disrupt the cycle of poverty and ultimately change the future of our world. Coming from a family built through adoption, she is passionate about creating a world where each person is provided with the resources and opportunities to pursue his or her dreams.
