As an assistant event coordinator, I travel to various venues and have helped facilitate over 15 company dinners, birthday parties, and weddings. We work closely with our customers to personalize each event and ensure the addition of other necessary vendors to optimize the event experience. Before events, we construct detailed timelines to inform all workers of important tasks and times they should be completed. My senior seminar class required students to participate in an internship and had me intern at First Way Insurance. During my time here, I worked on improving their social media by adding more content for their followers, inputting their insurance data into organized sheets, emailing different clients, and filing their financial information. This internship allowed me to immerse myself in the working world, network with different individuals within the company, gain practical skills, and have a better understanding of what I want to pursue as a future career.
