I am a first-generation and second-year student at Indiana University pursuing an Economics degree. I am a critical thinker and enjoy being creative through problem solving and innovation.I excel when working with others, getting involved in various activities, and expanding my skill set. At IU, I have further developed my time management skills by balancing school, social connections, and extracurricular activities. Joining IU Riley Dance Marathon Merchandise and Apparel Committee has developed my creativity, communication, and collaboration skills through creating designs with a team. It has also provided me the opportunity to make a difference by raising funds for a non-profit organization. Working at a jewelry store for the past 2 years has also helped improve these skills, along with my ability to assist and communicate with customers. There, I fulfill orders, calculate prices, and track inventory. This has helped me to improve my organizational skills, as well as critical thinking. I look forward to continuing my education and expanding my knowledge of economics and all things business related.
