I lead a team to raise donations and plan a week-long service project/trip to provide medical resources to marginalized communities in Ghana, Greece, and Honduras. We fundraise to aid communities in reaching their developmental goals such as clean water. I also reach out to organizations and medical professionals to collaborate on this project. I shadow and assist doctors in each country over video calls and in person on the trip. I also work to learn different languages to communicate with patients and study common diseases in each area. During the week, I work with doctors in triage, doctor consults, and pharmacy to assess, diagnose, and prescribe treatment.

I shadowed the lead doctor during treatments with patients with diseases such as cogan syndrome, fibromyalgia, arthritis, etc. Through meetings and conversations with Dr. Girnita, I learned about medicine and rheumatology, the emotional and mental side of medicine, and its effects on patients. I researched medicines and created 10+ informational brochures to inform patients about procedures and risks. I also worked on marketing strategies by producing ideas and carrying them out online and on social media.

Worked at the golf course clubhouse front desk checking customers in and booking tee times for customers. I also addressed concerns by contacting different teams that worked on the course to receive solutions as the clubhouse acted as a central hub for employees and golfers to go through. Communicated heavily with golfers about course conditions, policies, and solutions for common issues on the course. Worked across teams to ensure smooth operations at the golf course. In addition, I took the initiative to inspect pace of play and golf course conditions throughout shifts and communicate them back to the clubhouse. I also often went out onto the course to address issues with golf carts, between other players, and the course. I exemplified customer service skills by working to resolve the many issues that arose every day and by building relationships with customers as many golfers become regulars at courses.

I handled challenging projects independently and with team members to assist with the marketing and design of the product and website. I observed the financial aspects of the business and assisted in campaigning and pitching the company for investments and special entrepreneurship/start-up programs.
