As Program Coordinator, I oversee and coordinate initiatives to address preventable overdose within the prehospital space. This includes working closely with EMS, fire departments, police, and co-responder organizations to improve response and intervention for substance use crises. My role involves data administration, program oversight, and collaboration with key stakeholders to support harm reduction efforts and enhance the continuum of care for individuals at risk for overdose.

As an SOS Coordinator, I provided a safe, stable, and supportive environment for residents, staff, and the broader community through trauma-informed programming and operations across three Safe Outdoor Space sites.

As an NIH-funded research professional at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, I worked on various geriatric clinical research trials within the Emergency Medical Department.

As a CDC-funded research assistant, I worked with the National Behavioral Surveillance Survey (NHBS) during the persons who inject drugs (PWID) cycle. I helped coordinate programming at one of 23 sites nationwide, which is locally run through the Public Health Insititute at Denver Health and known as Project REACH (Risk Education Aimed at Community Health).

As a Medical Assistant, I assisted physicians in routine patient exams and maintained patient records.

As a Health Extension Volunteer, I designed and co-facilitated maternal and child health behavior-change groups in the community of Darah, Senegal. I worked with Senegal’s Ministry of Health on national health campaigns and improved the efficiency and capabilities of the local health posts. Finally, I wrote and managed a multi-sector USAID Small Project Assistance grant.
