After completion of the Rockwell Automation Sales Training program, I was placed in the Denver Metro Area to be a Channel Account Manager working closely with the sole distributor, Rexel and their APR in Colorado and Wyoming.I managed a $25M region including four distributor locations (Denver, Grand Junction, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo) I worked closely with each Branch Manager, Sales Manager and Inside/Outside Sales team in each location to support and provide Rockwell Automation support in both technical knowledge of Allen Bradley products as well as performing joint calls to increase awareness and market share. I developed co-managed objectives through doing Quarterly Business Reviews at each distributor branch to assess underperforming business segments. Through this we identified new strategies at target accounts to create more growth. I maintained relationships at unassigned customer base by developing monthly cadences at existing customers and prospected over 15 new accounts. Created a strategy in the region to help customer migrate from legacy products to new technology.

Rockwell Automation Global Sales Training Program - Over seven months, I spent time at both Rockwell Automation headquarter locations. (Milwaukee, WI and Cleveland, OH) I participated in two field assignments (6 weeks each) Charlotte, NC and Denver, CO office locations. Each field assignment had goals of sales calls, product/service focus to develop business, and qualifying new opportunities.During the program the focus was learning soft sales skills, how to negotiate, overall sales cycle strategy, learning Rockwell's products (PLCs, drives, software, sensors/safety, etc) and service offerings (Remote and field support, Assurance, Energy Audits, training, etc), ethics, pricing, etc
I provided tours to prospective engineering students and families through the various Engineering Buildings as well as the Academic Village Engineering dorm on campus. Each tour was personalized to the student based on their goals and needs for picking a school. By providing these tours, I was able to give a overview and "day in the life" perspective of what the engineering life really entailed. As a student ambassador, I was also responsible for cold calling hundreds of prospective students to help provide the college with data and feedback for future student targeting.By being an ambassador, I was able to work multiple CSU Engineering events, and was given the chance to speak to a variety of large audiences. Through this position, I learned to adapt to a variety of different personalities and to work under sometimes tough stressful situations.Overall, working for the CSU Engineering college as a ambassador was a very rewarding and valuable experience that has led me into my current position with Rockwell Automation as a Sales Engineer.
