For a decade, my career has been immersed in the automotive industry on the OEM, supplier, and agency sides of the business as well as the director of Michigan's automotive and mobility industry association, MICHauto. It has been my professional journey to understand every facet of one of the largest global industries including its supply chain, policy implications, workforce needs, the startup ecosystem, and innovations in mobility and its impacts on moving people and goods (and providing services) around the world.  My entire career has revolved around marketing and communications across automotive and transportation—from early stage startups to big name leaders in mobility. I have led efforts surrounding rebrandings, hundreds of millions of dollars in capital investment rounds, international market emergence, IPOs and SPACs, and product demos. With a pulse on the industry media and key players, I have successfully delivered on strategies that are mission and audience-aligned, strongly tied to business objectives, differentiated from competitors, and are delivered at the most opportune time. Additionally, from working across the diverse offerings of the industry (from heavy duty trucking and electric vehicles to battery metals supply chain and AV sensors), I am well-versed in the future of mobility and various aspects of the industry as a whole which allows me to digest complex ideas and concisely articulate, educate, and engage audiences. Additionally, I am co-author of Women Driven Mobility: Reinventing the Way the World Moves (www.WomenDrivenMobility.com), which was published by Society of Automotive Engineers International in early 2022. This book chronicles female-led projects and innovations that prove the unique perspective women bring to the table and illustrates the importance of diverse teams and ways of thinking.I am also an active board member of the Automotive Public Relations Council (APRC) and member of Inforum's AutomotiveNEXT. I formerly served on the Women in Mobility - Detroit board, as the Editor in Chief of Driven (www.DetroitDriven.us), and I was a Girl Scout leader. In 2020, I graduated from the Leadership Detroit program. As a strategic communicator, my projects have led me to become a six-time award winner—claiming three national awards in just 18 months for digital marketing efforts and communication campaigns.
