As a licensed environmental health specialist, I inspect retail food facilities to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations. Investigate pollution violations, rodent control violations, and related community hygiene violations. Conduct sanitary surveys in the community and collect water samples of the public bathing beaches and waterways in the county. I investigate and prepare reports on complaints involving public health issues. Finally, I am co-creator/ editor of the bi-annual newsletter, The Kitchen's View, sent to our licensed food facilities.
