CurrentPrincipal Mindfulness Trainer at IECL, teaching the gold-standard of mindfulness trainings - MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) - as a public program to coaches and corporate clients. Kate also develops and facilitates IECL's range of corporate Mindfulness for Leaders training programs, typically delivered as a two-hour introductory session, followed by an in-depth 6-week program or by an online 10-week program. Each mindfulness training program is tailor-made to the fit the needs of the particular organisation. Kate also delivers keynote presentations on Managing Ourselves: Mindfulness and the Business Context.Kate has been creating and delivering mindfulness trainings in both the public and corporate sectors since 2002; she has studied extensively both in Australia and internationally, and has been trained by world-class leaders including Jon Kabat-Zinn and Saki Santorelli, Kristin Neff and Christopher Germer.Kate’s approach blends cutting edge cognitive neuroscience with formal and informal mindfulness practices, to reveal how mindfulness training carves new neural pathways in the brain, leading to: greater focus and attention; increased resilience and working memory; increased self-awareness and self-regulation; strengthened emotional intelligence and cognitive effectiveness; heightened ability to manage and prevent stress; greater creativity and innovation; and high levels of health and wellbeing.
