*Upon graduating from Vet school, practiced veterinary medicine in several south central Texas clinics for 7 years. In 1986, entered academia as Professional Veterinary Consultant and began developing Veterinary Technician program for Alamo Colleges District. In 1989, transferred to Biology Department, spending most of next 2 decades as Adjunct faculty at San Antonio College, most often teaching Human Anatomy & Physiology. *Master of Public Health 2003 graduate of UT Houston School of Public Health, San Antonio satellite campus*Epidemiology Intern for the nonprofit Medical Institute for Sexual Health in Austin, Texas (May - December 2007)*In 2010, became Assistant Professor of Basic Sciences to professional students at Rosenberg School of Optometry (RSO) at UIW. Taught: Gross Anatomy/Histology, Neuroanatomy, Public Health.
