I work with people to help them clarify what they believe, where they want to go and what legacy they want to leave. I facilitate groups, coach individuals, and communicate and campaign for a more socially just world for our children.

In addition to working with children already living and working on the streets, Mkombozi works to end the abuse and neglect of children, to ensure that children’s rights are recognised, and to identify opportunities for intervention before a child migrates to the street. I founded Mkombozi with Kara Kirby in 1997 and was the Executive Director until 2009.
