In my role as Studio Director, I am the most senior, non-Principal role in the Denver studio and have full accountability for the performance of the studio. I ensure the strategic, operational, quality, and design objectives and standards are not only understood but owned by the staff. I am also tasked with, and excel at, creating a positive, inclusive studio culture. I work hard to make sure that my team has what they need to do exceptional design and the space to bring their whole selves to work. I project manage all of the Denver Studio projects, as well as jump in on production when the team is in the weeds. I also perform light business development duties, including lead generation.

I served as the lead interior designer for multiple healthcare projects ranging from Acute Care, Ambulatory Care, to Skilled Nursing Facilities. I developed finish and material palettes, coordinated architectural interior design, reviewed consultant drawings for design consistency, produced graphic presentations and built digital models, and ran client design meetings including medical planning.

Worked as a healthcare interior designer and medical planner on a large range of project sizes and complexities. Prepared contract documents and Room Data Sheets which are the basis-of-design and decision-making in all projects. Coordinated with local building department, attended client and user meetings, coordinated with consultants and engineers, coordinated finish selection with interior design team, and maintained a library of research and white papers concerning the state of the industry, best practices, etc.

Prepared presentation materials, produced contract documents, worked independently on finishes and furnishings, produced preliminary furniture budgets and specifications.

Assisted project managers on all levels of projects, performed space plans, created construction documents, attended client space planning and building department meetings, ran tenant finish meetings, communicated directly with clients, vendors, construction managers, and engineers. Completed a small interior renovation as project manager.

Worked as an interior design intern preparing Finish Selection boards, Finish Plan redlines, and finish library organization.

Worked as an architectural intern field verifying buildings for work on Bonds, master planning redlines, and finish library organization.

Worked as a Bid Room Assistant, distributing plans, specifications, and deposits to sub-contractors, performed take-offs for verification, and preliminary bid tallies.
