I am currently working towards a bachelors degree in Aviation Management & Operations in hopes of becoming an air traffic controller or holding an aviation management position. My love for the aviation industry started because of my grandfathers background with military aircraft. I am extremely passionate about volunteer work which is the main reason I decided to become a part of the Greek community at BGSU. Community service is a large part of what we do in Alpha Omicron Pi. Raising money for our nationwide and local philanthropies helps me feel better connected to my community, my sisters, and the individuals we raise the money for. I do not have a long list of work experience but I believe the positions I’ve held have helped me gain many useful skills. I have learned to work in fast paced environments while under pressure as well as how to properly communicate with customers, patrons, and coworkers to problem solve. While attending BGSU I have taken multiple classes to help me hold any role and be successful at it. My specialization has required me to enroll in many management and hospitality courses which have taught me how to be a better leader, teammate, customer service provider, and critical thinker. Taking computer science classes has helped me become proficient in all Microsoft programs. I strongly believe in the saying, “a healthy body is a healthy mind”. I like to workout daily and stay fit not only to keep my body in shape but to keep my brain in shape as well. Studies have shown that exercise does not just help physical development but mental development as well.
