Helen Keller once said, “life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all”. It takes a courageous woman to make such a statement… and I agree with her completely. Accepting and overcoming challenges is the common thread that runs through my entire career. I thrive on tackling enormous projects that no one else wants to do and enjoy being in unpredictable situations. From leading business transformations through instructional design and effective program management to overhauling marketing teams and facilitating organizational change, I am known for jumping into unfamiliar circumstances, figuring things out, and making progress. A challenge by itself is exciting, but one that serves the greater good gives me the most energy. When my work positively impacts the lives of others and the communities in which they live, every goal I achieve has so much more meaning. It is easy to get up in the morning when I know that something larger than me is at stake. This is why I have worked in roles that provide opportunities to help organizations achieve their strategic goals by building infrastructure that nurtures and supports their team members - fostering a culture that motivates each individual to excel. It is impossible to achieve great things and serve others without a healthy team dynamic. I have learned that great strategies are meaningless without a strong cultural foundation. Organizational climates that are inclusive, uplifting, encouraging and respectful tend to produce the best ideas, highest-potential talent and strongest results. When the culture is strong, it is easier to challenge teams to go beyond their limits and achieve what they thought was impossible.
