Participated in an Americorps Program where I generated enrichment curriculum for Kindergarten age children for an afterschool literacy program and helped run the after school literacy program at a school site, as well as assist the Site Coordinator with tasks.

Led nine peer educators by facilitating weekly meetings, coordinating events, and advertising events on campus; Provided feedback on Eco-Rep events in order to increase the educational component and to provide tips for advertising and increasing attendance; and collaborated with the Office of Sustainability to promote campus-wide events and advocate for sustainable practices on campus

Presented at the Elon University Environmental Advisory Council comprised of University leaders, sustainability fellows, faculty, and students to seek recommendation for the President to sign the letter of support; Educated students on campus about carbon pricing and the advantages and disadvantages of carbon pricing; Worked with Elon Votes!, an organization increasing voter registration and voter education on Elon University's campus, to spread awareness about the importance of voting in order to better the outcome of the environment.

Crafted a policy which was partially enacted on composting in grocery stores and universities to present to the Mayor of Nashville; Researched sustainability programs occurring in other cities and parks in downtown Nashville; Responded to constituents’ concerns and participated in Climate Mayor’s Monthly Conference Calls.
