Over the years I worked in many different positions at the veterinary clinic from aiding the hospital staff, to working as a receptionist for the boarding and grooming side of the clinic, and as an office assistant on the hospital side occasionally.

Grand Rapids, Michigan

I aided the department in gathering article proposals, editing articles, writing content for their connected blog and website, drafting grant proposals and editing those proposals throughout the acceptance process, organizing meetings, keeping the staff updated on the going-ons of article content throughout the department, and assisting the staff with miscellaneous tasks.

Allendale, Michigan

I was office assistant in the library dean's suite at Grand Valley State University's Allendale campus Mary Idema Pew Library (MIP). I was responsible for mainly receptionist duties that included fielding students, professors, and other professionals coming in for appointments within the suite, emailing faculty/staff, handling phone calls and messages for specific (mainly my supervisors) faculty within the suite, taking inventory of supplies, assisting library staff with projects, and general management of the suite (keeping the kitchen, conference rooms, print and supply room orderly). Some special tasks I was also involved in included filing and tracking travel expense reports within the department, and transcribing video content for an art project that the GVSU Art Department was holding in the library to welcome incoming freshman for the 2016 school year.
