Leads the Technology Council of Australia, the peak body for Australia's tech sector. Contributing $167bn to GDP annually, and employing 861,000 people, the tech sector is a key pillar of the Australian economy.

In this role, I manage McKinsey's Australian public sector practice, working with Australian public sector clients to help them achieve their full potential through significant improvement and lasting change.

Provided strategic advice, policy development, government and industry liaison and project management for a number of leading Australian technology companies and not-for-profits. Clients included Microsoft Australia, NICTA (now known as Data 61), Alcatel Lucent and Xero.

Led technology sector strategy for the Australian Industry Group (Ai Group), including broadband, copyright, digital economy, ICT skills, spectrum management and product stewardship. My role included:• convening and chairing policy development member groups for CEOs and senior executives from companies in the telecommunications, software, internet services and consumer electronics industries• advocating on behalf of Ai Group members with Government departments, regulators and Parliamentary offices• winning and managing commercial projects, research projects and government grants• leading member relations with around 1000 technology sector Ai Group members• writing high-quality policy submissions, speeches and reports • briefing Ai Group’s state and National Executive Councils.

Managed regulatory affairs, government relations and sustainability for Network Ten. Included two periods during which I worked as Acting Head of Broadcast Policy, served as a member of Network Ten's senior executive and as a Director of Free TV Australia and Freeview.

Responsible for providing advice on a range of communications policy issues including media ownership, anti-siphoning and reforms to Australia's communication regulatory authority.

Worked in the office of the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts. Responsible for telecommunications consumer issues.
