About Kate Canter

I am here to create new and exciting media! My passions can be found in genre fiction in all it's forms; from traditional prose, television, movies and gaming. I've written a feature length horror movie, had fiction and satire pieces published in print and online, produced standup comedy shows, edited a variety of projects for Voice of America and independent creators, and facilitated creative opportunities for other performers. As an employee, my primary objective is to help turn out quality creative products on time and under budget. I believe that creativity comes from all branches of society. New voices will revitalize the American creative voice and I am eager to help those voices be heard. I am especially interested in separating creative content from the constraints of advertiser demands and the lowest common denominator. I believe creative work is vital to the human experience and, at its best, can inspire and elevate public discourse.
