Cross-sector project consultant, advising on corporate skills-based volunteering programming to support the social impact sector. I lead nonprofit client selection processes, scope projects across various disciplines (Strategy, Technology, Marketing, Human Resources, Operations, Finance, etc.), and identify matchesbetween teams of corporate employees and nonprofit clients. I then lead projects from design to completion, guiding volunteer teams and nonprofit staff through the process. Finally, I use evaluation tools to refine program design and management practices.

I formerly worked as a Research Fellow with the Cultural Asset Management Team at Bloomberg Associates—the philanthropic consulting firm housed within Bloomberg that works on behalf of cities for free. I conducted focus groups and a literature review to identify the responses of several U.S. cities to the need for safe and accessible arts space following the tragic Ghost Ship fire in Oakland. The findings were included in a White Paper that discussed challenges and opportunities associated with preserving arts space, making it code compliant, and sustaining culture in U.S. cities. These findings were presented at the 2018 Grantmakers in the Arts Conference.

I assisted Dr. Sonia Ospina with planning, execution, and follow-up for communications and administration of the graduate course, "Multi-Sector Partnerships". I was responsible for the grading of student work, and provided feedback on written work. I met with students to discuss course readings, assignments, or concepts more broadly.

In this role, I managed Humanities New York's Public Scholars program which promoted vibrant humanities engagement across New York State by offering a selection of dynamic, compelling presentations facilitated by humanities scholars. I conducted outreach to grassroots and nonprofit organizations around the state, coordinating scholar bookings and assisting with event planning. In this role I also advised on HNY's Grants work, liaising with grants applicants and recipients, participating in Grants review and site visits as well. As part of NY Ltnt. Governor Kathy Hochul’s initiative to commemorate NY’s Suffrage Centennial, I developed and promoted suffrage programming within HNY's statewide network, and represented the organization at related events.

I conducted research to analyze and evaluate the impact of public art programming at the organization. In order to better define and improve upon audience engagement, social media impact, and the success of public events I spoke with staff and collected data from various departments. This project culminated in a organizational evaluation report that gave recommendations to enhance the performance measurement and evaluation of cultural programming at the Alliance. The report was presented to senior staff, and incorporated their feedback to address the ways that enhanced evaluation could dovetail with broader strategic planning. During this fellowship I also assisted in the production of all ​Midnight Moments, ​Solstice, and ​Taste of Times Square, as well as Play­Times­Squared, a public arts event aimed at engaging individuals with game­-based learning. When necessary, I assisted Events staff in the ticketing and production of public events, and completed administrative tasks as requested.

As an intern I created online educational content for the organization's’ pARTnership movement, which aims to reach business leaders with the message that partnering with the arts can build competitive advantage. I created material for digital “classrooms”, through which professionals at local arts agencies and civic councils can learn how to build volunteer and corporate engagement programs that showcase the arts. By blogging for the pARTnership Movement's site, I showcased arts-related community engagement, corporate culture, and educational projects of local arts agencies and business councils around the country. I conducted research to build knowledge of the nationwide network of Arts and Business Councils and their corporate partners. I also assisted with the Arts and Business Council of New York’s public events.

As Membership Manager, I was responsible for maintaining and enhancing CLA’s membership program; stewardship of current members and solicitation of new members; fulfillment of member benefits; coordinating and executing member events including the annual meeting of the board, the formal gala, and monthly networking events; and engaging with volunteer solicitors and stakeholders including the board of directors and membership committee members. Working with the Executive Director and CLA staff, I developed and executed a membership plan supported by specific solicitation strategies, cultivation events, strategic partnerships, and member marketing, PR and communications tools. I also assisted the Director of Marketing and Development in other fundraising, marketing and general duties as needed.

As a day-camp instructor at GreenApple Campus for the summer of 2013, I created and executed daily lesson plans relating to digital media and video game design. In addition to familiarizing students with video and photo editing software, I oversaw game design projects using child-friendly software. As an educational summer camp, GreenApple is committed to using legos, video-game and robotics software to facilitate STEM education. Aside from providing students with technical guidance, my role was to engender positive student-to-student interaction, ensuring the camp was a safe and educational space for children of all ages.

I maintained media, venue and label working relationships while conducting industry outreach. I also provided promotional content for online campaigns and managed budgets for marketing materials placement. I worked with WLUW team to orchestrate WLUW’s partnership with Toyota’s Free Yr Radio Campaign at Lollapalooza 2011/2012, and got to assist in on-site production. I frequently managed volunteer efforts in event planning, street team marketing, and administrative tasks. I also coordinated outreach efforts to other college media outlets and established community partnerships/underwriting in support of WLUW's programming.
