As a Career Coach I start in class working with students week over week during their time on campus to build the skills and create the materials they need to successfully navigate the job search and then guided them through the actual search until they landed their first opportunity. I balance 4 in course classes, of 15-30 students each, and roughly 55 seeking graduates. I work with UX, Development and Product Management students creating content for and leading weekly in-class workshops that include (but are not limited to) personal branding, networking, LinkedIn profile and resume best practices, working with recruiters, getting started as a freelancer, search strategies, interviewing and negotiations.
