As a recent graduate, I specialize in automated testing frameworks, focusing on efficiency and accurate performance. In my current position I am a self learner and implement automated testing strategies in my projects. Please check out my Github page (https://github.com/kattypatty) for more details on technical expertise. How did I arrive here? The historically high demand for programming skills in the tech world got me thinking about a dramatic career shift. With no prior programming abilities, I began my learning journey over the last two years. The learning process was challenging and opportunities in the job market are now greatly reduced, yet I still persevered through these obstacles.Armed with determination and an insatiable thirst for knowledge, I completed my AAS degree in Computer Information Systems and I keep my learning into the realm of popular test automation frameworks such as Selenium and pytest, with knowledge of Python, writing user stories and test cases to ensure knowledge tracking and sharing within the team. I am eager to continue my learning; there is so much more to explore and master.I am committed to professional development and regularly participate in QA conferences and volunteering related to women in the tech industry. As a woman, I enjoy finding intellectual connections and mentoring support from other women, breaking down barriers, and challenging my expectations. My list of skills: HTML, CSS, Excel, XML, Python, SQL, Selenium Webdriver, Selene, Allure, Jira, Visual Studio Code, Git/Github, Linux, AWS.
