The Peace Corps Campus Representative serves as a recruitment representative under the general supervision of an on-campus faculty/staff member in the designated department administering Peace Corps strategic contract. The position operates under the jurisdiction of the Midwest Regional Recruitment Office (MWRO) and receives guidance and direction from an assigned recruiter in the MWRO. Working with a local non-governmental organization (NGO), Imereti Scientists’ Union “Spectri.”Duties & Responsibilities: Assist the NGO to conduct a needs assessment, and identify the needs in fundraising and proposal writing; Assist the NGO to identify new potential partnerships and funding opportunities abroad; Assist the NGO in proposal writing; Assist the organization in conducting a SWOT analysis; Based on the SWOT analyzes design a strategic plan for the organization; Identify the needs of the NGO staff in English language development; Design and conduct classes in conversational English; Assist the NGO in establishing relations with international environmental networks; Help the NGO to become a member of international networks; Help the NGO to establish and manage a local network of environmental organizations; Help the NGO staff to improve their communications and networking skills; Assist the organization in supporting the development of “Students for Energy Efficiency” through PDM trainings; Share modern practices of Waste Management with the staff; Assist the organization in developing a concept for a social enterprise.
