Special Agent
Current-Served in three Field Offices: Miami Field Office, Newark Field Office and Washington Field Office-Provide protection for U.S. Secret Service designated Protectees on foreign and domestic grounds.-Prepare and design security plans and logistics for any major event designated as a National Special Security Event (NSSE) by the Secretary of the United States Department of Homeland Security.-Conduct protective advances and determine all assets based on multiple threat assessments.-USSS Representative to the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.-Collect intelligence and evidence in investigative cases with Federal Agents and local authorities prior to special operations investigations, resulting in child predator arrests.-Participate in every facet of investigative processes for Federal and State cases beginning with opening cases, issuing subpoenas, conducting search warrants, and interviewing, ultimately leading to arresting suspects.-Conduct various operation plans and presentations prior to search and arrest warrants.-Work with various District Attorneys and U.S. Attorneys to successfully prosecute crimes against children and financial crimes-Maintain collaborative working relationships with all state and local police departments to include the NJSP, MDPD, Port Authority Police, and federal law enforcement agencies to ensure investigative and protective oversight.-Field Training Agent for new agents for training, protection, and investigations.-Ambassador to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and provide presentations to children and their guardians to raise awareness for child exploitation and internet safety.-Conduct security and panel interviews for new Special Agent and Uniform Division applicants. -Uphold the dual mission of the United States Secret Service of protection and investigations.-Work closely with Communications and Media Relations Branch to assist recruiting female athletes
