Kate Schroeder is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with over 25 years of professional experience working with individuals and families from all stages of life: - Clinical experience as a school counselor- Mental health therapist in an urban university’s counseling center- Clinical experience as an individual, couples, group, and family therapist- Professional experience as a clinical researcherShe is a certified administrator and interpreter of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® and has training in the Enneagram system of personality typing. Kate also holds certifications as a massage therapist, a physical trainer, and a physical education teacher. Her main goal in therapy work is to facilitate a deep emotional healing and growth process in clients through non-traditional approaches. Some of Kate’s feeling-based therapy techniques include artwork, music, guided imagery, visual journaling, dream work, movement, and other “right brain” activities.

I teach graduate courses in Counseling as well as undergraduate courses in Behavioral & Social Sciences.
