Pulled in to collaborate on and lead branding and communications efforts for clients who require deep research/competitive analysis and/or extensive copywriting. Clients have included a leading cybersecurity company, universities, non-profit organizations, and the Knoxville Police.

We started Rainy Day Boxes to change the way we support those who are grieving. Unlike meals, flowers, and cards, a Rainy Day Box recognizes grief's long and unpredictable timeline.

I use words to bring business objectives to life. Deliverables have included thought leadership pieces, case studies, white papers, speeches, branding, fact sheets, web copy, executive bios, media pitching, blog posts, and award applications. Clients have included IDEO, GlobalEnglish, Ackermann PR, Starwood Preferred Guest, American Express, and Kellogg’s.

Developed the newspaper's first web-only content area. Managed the process of building the CMS and defined the site map; hired/managed 15 freelancers; worked with the advance and day-of budgets of 10+ editors to brainstorm, assign, edit, and write coordinating content for the web.

Kept trend and product information refreshed for the country's leading website for kitchen design and remodeling info. Represented the site at major trade shows; wrote articles for placement in shelter publications; served as an industry expert (Cooking Light, Boston Globe). Developed all media kits and advertising campaigns.
