As Receptionist, I was the first and last point of contact for our guests, ensuring an exceptional guest experience is delivered at all times.This role included ensuring a smooth check in/out process for all guests at all times while keeping up with brand standards; being fully conversant with the facilities, services and special promotions offered by the hotel and being able to use up-selling strategies to maximise room occupancy and use of said facilities; keeping up to date with any guest feedback on any platform and insuring that the Front Office Manager and Supervisors are aware of any important feedback; and complying with all the hotels strict security, fire regulations and health and safety legislation.This role involved a high amount of multitasking whilst delivering excellent customer service which I was commended for by my manager. I also received full training in OPERA systems.
