I provide strategic direction and operational leadership to theblueballroom, delivering on overall company performance in terms of client relationships, financial results and employee relationships. Working as part of the operational management team, I manged a small team to develop the recruitment advertising and design services we offer to the beyond profit sector. In partnership with clients, we looked at longer term strategies to try and reduce expenditure and increase exposure, helping build brands in the process. I was also heavily involved in business development across both the advertising and design teams.

Working as part of the senior team, my role involved the strategic development of client accounts, as well involvement in new business and reaching business goals. Great mixed client base which increased my knowledge and experience, having worked with the not for profit sector for so long.

We've raised approximately £12,000 for the Special Care Baby Unit at Ipswich Hospital where my daughter Chloe's life was saved back in 2008. Three amazing men took a home made pedalo across the Irish Sea in 7 hours. An amazing feat and one for which we are still collecting so we hope our total will increase. This was a hugely varied role since I was involved in the growth of the business. We started with literally a handful of clients and within 6 years, were turning over about £7 million. Phenomenal! So I pitched, I processed ads, I managed projects, I did response handling, I did whatever was needed to keep the show on the road. And surrounded by a brilliant team, this was easy.
