Kate Simpson specialises in English language education for adults in the Geelong area. Through Advanced English Tuition, she aims to help her clients achieve their career or study goals through excellence in English. Kate applies her extensive knowledge and vast professional experience to create individualised tutorials to suit each of her clients.Kate’s passion for cultural and linguistic diversity led to her tertiary studies in French, Italian and Indonesian. However, her career focus has been English as a Second or Additional Language (ESL/EAL). Kate continues to work with clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Current research informs Kate’s teaching methodology. In her Master of Applied Linguistics degree at The University of Melbourne (2018), she specialised in Teaching English as a Second or Other Language (TESOL). Kate has developed academic English programs for several Australian universities, including Deakin University in Geelong. She continues to incorporate the latest language-learning technologies and educational resources in her work. Kate lives on Wadawurrung country and actively engages with the Bellarine Landcare Group and Parks Victoria to promote cultural and environmental education.
