I specialize in providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to treat disorders of emotion regulation in teens or adults. The Center for Mindfulness and Behavior Therapy, a specialty outpatient clinic on the North Shore of Chicago, is a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Program, an honor that demonstrates our program provides effective and comprehensive DBT treatment with fidelity to the treatment manual. As part of our comprehensive DBT program, clients participate in individual psychotherapy, group skills training, and have 24/7 availability to phone skills coaching. DBT is an evidence-based practice and the gold standard treatment for teens and adults exhibiting self-endangering behaviors and/or emerging or established borderline personality traits, such as self-injury, suicidal thinking, impulsivity, conflictual relationships, chronic depression or anxiety, substance abuse, or emotional instability.

The Center for Mindfulness and Behavior Therapy is recognized as a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Program™. This DBT program has demonstrated the intent to deliver comprehensive DBT with fidelity to the treatment manual.We provide a DBT comprehensive program to pre-teens, teens and adults, consisting of individual therapy, group skills training, 24/7 phone coaching, and a consultation team of DBT therapists.

• Provide diagnostic, group psychotherapeutic, psychoeducational, and case management services to patients in the Adult and Center for Addiction Medicine partial hospitalization programs• Deliver evidence-based individual outpatient therapy services to underserved adolescents and adults• Complete comprehensive psychological testing batteries, write integrative reports, and provide direct feedback to patients, referring providers, and treatment teams• Co-lead group supervision for psychology externs and engage in group supervision-of-supervision
