Currently managing research development in higher education, I support the University to grow its research income and impact. Prior to this chapter my work was in the arts and culture sector. As a creative producer and project manager I have 15+ years experience designing, fundraising for and delivering complex culture / arts / heritage projects, and exploring the space arts can create for dialogue. I have worked with organisations large and small helping them bring together the right partners and deliver exceptional work in settings from international to hyper-local, and with collaborators from fields including music, architecture, academia, socially engaged practice and design. My current work in research development requires many of the same skills, and is ultimately about making the case for thoughtful, critical work that delivers positive impact on the world we live in.A natural collaborator, working creatively with individuals and organisations to grow engaging, ambitious projects is what I love to do.
