As the Main Room Manager, I work with the Creative Team in the US, the Event Facilitator and Event Manager to ensure that all details of the program are executed to the highest standard within the main room. This role is a combination of leadership, excellent organisational skills, strong communication and a servant heart ensuring that the participants have the best experience at these events. It is a fast paced, ever changing environment which allows me space to think on my feet and solve problems quickly and effectively. Getting to do all of this in beautiful Fiji is of course, the icing on the cake!

My role includes planning, supporting, executing and leading the annual Kai Fella Charity Ball which started in 2023. This is the premier fund raising event for Kai Fella and raises money to give more young people the opportunity to attend an early-intervention peer-support workshop. These life changing workshops have been developed by the Kai Fella Team and are saving lives!My role includes finding sponsorships and developing relationships with our stakeholders, planning every aspect of the charity ball and working closely with our suppliers and venue. I also manage the ball team including our amazing volunteers and all parties involved with making it a spectacular night, from the MC to our guest speakers.This role requires creativity, thorough organisational skills, amazing communication and strong leadership qualities. 2025 is our third event and we are looking to break all our previous records! Throughout my career as cabin crew, I was responsible for passenger safety and comfort on board our aircraft. I have been endorsed on the Dash 8, Bae 146, J 21 and the Boeing 717.I have held several different roles within the business including inflight trainer, Check and Training Cabin Crew, Emergency Procedures Instructor and Ground School Instructor. Being a part of the Check and Training Department for over ten years has given me a board skill set in terms of teaching, training and facilitating.I was CASA approved to conduct Emergency Procedures training across three aircraft types, the Dash 8, the Bae 146 and the Boeing 717.
