👋 Hello! I'm Kate, a "get your boots dirty, but my family comes first" professional with a background in digital marketing, marketing communications, creative design, and leadership. I've worked for small businesses, large corporations, non-profits/ministry, and the boring world of insurance. I'm currently serving my team at Precision Planting as our Digital Marketing Manager where I have the honor of leading our digital marketing specialists, website designer/developers, content specialist, and photo/videographer. I steer the direction and implementation of digital initiatives to elevate our brand presence and get farmers the information and education they need to have a successful season. I bring close to 10 years of experience in crafting and executing integrated marketing strategies. I've spearheaded content strategies, communication plans, social media management, brand ambassador communities, lots of email campaigns, paid media plans and implementation, website creation and maintenance, creative needs from social posts to radio scripts to video assets, and event experience from awareness to registration to post-event follow up. I'm a servant utility leader that can get my hands in the mix when needed, view our digital contributions from a high level, and know the difference between the two and what my role needs to be for our team in the moment. Aside from my day-to-day work, I also offer my skills as a marketing/communications freelancer. I've helped launch brands with anything from branding to digital ads to brand messaging to signage. I offer coaching sessions for businesses that have felt stuck or need to kick start their business – a lot of encouragement and fresh ideas can come from conversation over a cup of coffee! My husband and I own and operate Moore Family Farm – a corn and soybean row crop farm in Central Illinois. Aside from running our own farm, we also offer local custom farming options [land management, tillage, planting, harvest, trucking, etc.] to assist other farmers and land owners in our area.I thrive at the intersection of creative juices flowing and tactical marketing/comms, seamlessly blending my roles as a marketer, creative, leader, wife, mom, and farmer. I am a humble and confident learner. I bring a unique perspective to the table, backed by hands-on experience in both the marketing field, the heart of the farm, and I'm not afraid to say "No" when needed. From small businesses, to churches, to large corporations, my skills and insights are relevant to all, just serving a different audience with each!
