Assisted with the development and implementation of a knowledge translation study including writing the protocol, developing the patient screening tool and research database, and screening over 1200 patients for study eligibility. Completed two Research Ethics Board applications with approval status granted. Developed the study’s knowledge translation tools including a poster, pocketbook, and nursing PowerPoint presentation in conjunction with key stakeholders and team members.

Wrote a monthly “Ask the Professional” column for the Burlington Post newspaper to improve health education and medication safety. Organized diabetes and COPD clinic days. Conducted drug information research and assisted pharmacists in resolving drug therapy problems.
