I feel fortunate to be able to combine my passion for an active and mindful way of life, with my desire to create community, and professional expertise in marketing, sales, and business development.After working in entertainment and media for the better part of a decade, including: talent representation, casting, acting and directing, I became the director of the Commercial Department at a boutique-sized talent agency here in Los Angeles. My specialties included: cultivating relationships with area casting directors, negotiating contracts for print, broadcast and online media; and strategizing with clients and their managers the most effective way of marketing themselves for their target audience. Eventually, my increasing desire to join my personal and professional passions came together. After spending just over a year with an LA startup which produced a community of health and fitness professionals who joined forces to co-create a line of conscious products, I joined Exhale, managing the local sales and marketing efforts for the NY-based spa and boutique fitness brand. I developed strategic partnerships with like-minded brands and drove revenue with special events and membership initiatives, eventually becoming the director of the Venice location overseeing operations, retail and programming as well. During this time I completed nearly 1000 hours of training in fitness, yoga, & meditation and began to teach. Since 2014, I have continued to teach public classes, special events, corporate wellness, yoga festivals, retreats and private groups, and private trainings. Beginning in 2015, I expanded my expertise to consult with businesses in the fitness and wellness space to improve marketing and communications initiatives, and optimize operational strategy. In May of 2018, I additionally took on the role of spearheading a startup retail brand offering luxury gifts and home accessories, leading operations, business development strategy, marketing, and outreach. Since March of 2020 I have refocused my attention on virtual wellness offerings and beginning in March of 2021 joined the founding executive team of a virtual wellness platform offering fitness opportunities for the mind and body to all ages.I am active in charity and volunteer work and currently sit on the Board of Directors of the Venice Chamber of Commerce.Specialties: marketing, branding, sales, negotiation, market analysis & consumer behavior research, customer service, operations & management, group fitness instruction, mindfulness
