As the Director of Indigenous Perspectives at the National Theatre School of Canada, I am dedicated to fostering an environment that centers Indigenous equity and inclusion. My role is deeply connected with the Indigenous Advisory Circle, driving a cultural shift to embrace and integrate First Nation, Métis, and Inuit perspectives within our school. Through these efforts, we aim to support Indigenous students and staff, strengthen reconciliation, enrich the school's relational health, and teach the next generation of theatre artists to be ethical, value-driven, and culturally humble.My educational background, including a Master of Social Work specializing in Indigenous Trauma and Resiliency from the University of Toronto, informs my approach to creating supportive spaces for growth and transformation.
