Fully understand the layout, technologies, material requirements and process flow for the 24-hr/day manufacturing facility. Scheduled 13 glaze lines, 6 kilns and 12 sorting lines using knowledge of the plant, along with extensive knowledge of each product and it's attributes. Evaluate the needs of customers and create an efficient and obtainable production schedule for Dal-Tile Muskogee, a plant that produces 3.5 million square feet of porcelain tile per week. Support all other areas of manufacturing through forecasting production, forward planning and product knowledge. Review successes or shortcomings of each scheduling period to determine what changes, if any, would better meet the needs of the customer while maintaining or improving upon efficiency and cost effectiveness in the manufacturing process. Heavy emphasis on SAP recording, accuracy and reporting. Close and trusted relationship with corporate planning, R&D and marketing departments.
