The development and scale-up of finite gap electrolysers. I project manage my research direction, analyse and interpret results, and author papers.

Tropical Power generates renewable energy in Kenya from agricultural residue. I was responsible for the set-up of the onsite lab and field trials of CAM plants, and for the initial and ongoing training of local staff, writing training literature and designing report forms. I collated data, interpreted the results and wrote reports that influenced business.

Laboratory demonstrator for 2nd and 3rd year classes, University of Oxford (April 11 – April 2012) Guiding a group of students to work together to answer set questions using preset laboratory equipment and encouraging them to explore the subject further.Ran tutorials after the practical classes. Co-Supervised a 4th year research project, Engineering Science Department and Jesus College, University of Oxford (Oct 11 – May 12) Designed a 4th year research project. Met once a week with undergraduate student, discussed problems, helped set up laboratory work.
