In this role I am lucky to work with over 100 year 10 school students who form the Lord Mayors Young Environmental Leadership Network. Working with the students to undertake sustainability projects within their schools. Coordinating the BCC marquee for the hugely successful Green Heat Fair - Brisbane’s favourite sustainability fair. Within the Branch working with the urban forest and offset teams to have successful tree planting events. Using my experience in stakeholder management, planning and time management skills to ensure the events are well planned and successful. I have recently added Workplace health and safety representative for the Branch. This has involved undergoing both formal and informal training to ensure staff have safe work conditions. Change of role within the Disaster Management team and coordinated the My Resilient Schools primary school education program. Developing community engagement events, planning, time management, marketing and communication including market research and stakeholder management.

Working in the Disaster Management team to review all of the evacuation centres.

Working with primary schools to encourage students and parents to actively travel to work.

Coordination of training for the Brisbane SES Unit to ensure volunteers were well trained and competent and ready to respond to natural events.

Started as a trainee and have worked in many roles. Using the variety of roles to build my skills in customer service, Microsoft office, legislation, correspondence, stakeholder engagement and management.
