Kathleen Haase manages technology development at the USC ICT Vision and Graphics Lab. She has worked closely with the institute’s project directors and senior researchers for over a decade, connecting fundamental computer vision advances with industry collaborations, government sponsors and other academic researchers. She leads cross-functional groups over multi-disciplinary research with a focus on AI-generated photorealistic virtual humans, and 3D scene and object reconstruction among other forward-focused topics. Haase demonstrates an aptitude for assimilating complex research and communicating opportunities with stakeholders and management. Her background includes strengths as a film producer, entertainment executive, and business strategist.
