Previous experiences in legal professions: court, embassy + international work and law firms. Currently working as an English, professional orientation and physical education teacher at a low-income, inner-city Austrian secondary school in Vienna.Teach for Austria (TFA) wants to strengthen educational equity and has a strong vision for the educational system in Austria: every child should have the chance to receive an excellent education and to have a good life, no matter what social background it has. The Teach For Austria-Fellowship is a leadership-development-program. After a multi-stage selection process, fellows participate in a 3-months training to get prepared for their 2-year teaching assignments. During those two years, fellows get continuous training on the job and support from Teach For Austria coaches and various external experts. TFA-Alumni have gained expertise on the core source of educational inequity and are qualified to tackle those sources in different careers and self-developed projects.
