About Katharine Atkinson

I am an Adaptive Physical Activity Specialist. I coordinate sport and recreational programs for individuals with visual impairments. I currently coach the Ohio Blind Team in Columbus Ohio. I also facilitate a Spinal Cord Wellness program through the city, coordinate APE programs, and run the Inclusion Support city program. I currently work for the City of Columbus and am in school at The Ohio State University, in route to receive my PHD (working with individuals with visual impairments). I plan to get my TVI and become an O & M specialist. I would love to connect with more people within this field or who educate others in the field of disabilities studies.
