- Unify and align communications with 7 unique "sub-brand" ministries of the organization.- Partner with ministries, meet with leadership teams and collaboratively create communications plans to mobilize their specific audiences to respond (community, parents, children, teens, young adults, seniors, care workers, etc).- Ensure high-quality and highest impact communications are created for both an 800+ person internal audience (ministries) and an external target audience (community at… Show more - Unify and align communications with 7 unique "sub-brand" ministries of the organization.- Partner with ministries, meet with leadership teams and collaboratively create communications plans to mobilize their specific audiences to respond (community, parents, children, teens, young adults, seniors, care workers, etc).- Ensure high-quality and highest impact communications are created for both an 800+ person internal audience (ministries) and an external target audience (community at large), the city of Markham and the GTA.Details:- Have a seat at the table with the Service Design Team, the Teaching/Preaching Team and the Board to be informed of leadership priorities and decisions, with permission to speak into communications/marketing issues.- Proactively plan and work with ministries to support their communications needs.- Lead and manage coordinators, assistants and volunteers to help implement communications strategies and tactics. This team partners to:- Keep social media and website fresh and engaging.- Network with other church communications teams.- Collect and tell stories of impact within the community.- Photograph services, events, overseas missions trips, fundraisers, seasonal kids camps, etc.- Own and manage the church’s brand/identity.- Carry out the day-to-day tasks of facilitating communications/marketing.- Be proficient in writing/editing, graphic design, communication, strategy, and multi-tasking.
