The Social Hour is a new social media marketing business created by an entrepreneur local to Austin. During my internship I assisted with things like graphic design for Austin companys , marketing their brand, and finding potential clients for future business.

During this job I worked as a leasing specialist meaning I helped people sign leases, answer questions about our property, gave tours, and worked on things like roommate assignments and housing placements. I also managed the social media for the property.

During this job I worked for The City of Austin Aquatics Division, and worked at different local pools around the Austin area. I managed money and worked at the front desk of each pool.

While working at Brick Oven, I served as a hostess and server, trusted with tasks like seating customers, cleaning, taking orders, serving food and alcohol, and perfecting the flow of the restaurant.

Austin Chaplin Cotillion is an annual cotillion taught by a Texas natured company, Chaplin Cotillion. Chaplin Cotillion's program builds self-confidence by leading students through a series of structured, upbeat lessons while giving positive reinforcement and encouragement, as well as teaching table etiquette, conversation, and basic dinner courtesies. During my time as an instructer, I assisted in teaching young children these manners and lessons, as well as perfecting them for myself as well.

I secured this internship through Anderson High School, which I attended 2016-2020. During this internship I learned things about every aspect of hospitality as well as working in every department. I interned in the banquets department, engineering, housekeeping, front desk, coffee shop, and resturaunt.
